TRIANGLE LAKE 2024:
ALL-CHURCH FAMILY CAMPOUT
This is our annual all-church family campout at Triangle Lake, held on the grounds of Memorial Community Church. Whether you can come for the whole time or just for a day this is a fun, relaxing environment to enjoy each other and build memories.
Please register if you plan on attending both nights, one night, or even just for a day. While this is a free event registrations help us plan well for space, food and other needs.
WHEN:
Thursday - Saturday, June 27 - 29 You can arrive as early as 2 p.m. on Thursday and stay until 6 p.m. on Saturday. You can stay both nights, one night, or even just come out for a day visit! WHERE: We rent the lakefront property from Memorial Community Church: 19254 Hwy 36, Blachly, OR 97412 It's about three acres of beautifully kept grounds and green lawns, with a large, horseshoe-shaped dock (inside the dock is a shallow swim area and small beach, perfect for younger children). COST: IT IS FREE to camp and participate! However, if you or anyone in your household plans on going out on the boats, donations are encouraged to help pay for boat fuel. Connect with Pastors Alan or Ryan to give donations in cash or check (payable to Fairfield Baptist Church; write Triangle Lake Boat Gas on memo line). ACTIVITIES: We will have ski/tubing boats, a swimming area, volleyball, cornhole, ultimate frisbee, campfires, a playground area, kayaks, fishing and great fellowship. Be sure to bring a camp chair for the campfire and general lounging. And don't forget bug spray and sunscreen! CAMPFIRE SESSIONS: Everyone is encouraged to participate in our sessions around the campfire. We have two evening sessions (Thursday & Friday) and two morning sessions (Friday & Saturday). Enjoy singing, sharing, a campfire devotional and making s'mores or "s'morittos" (if you don't know what that is, then you need to come find out!) WHAT TO SLEEP IN: It's your choice! Many families bring their trailers, while others bring tents. There is plenty of room for both. There is limited electricity for some of the trailers (but not enough for A/C systems). MEALS: You are responsible for your own meals. Picnic tables are available around the grounds. The exception to this is our Friday evening all-church potluck dinner. The main dish is provided by FBC. Everyone is encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert to share. BATHROOMS/SHOWERS: Men's and women's facilities are on the property. Both have multiple toilets, showers and sinks. Be sure to bring your own towels! PARKING: While unloading equipment (or unhooking a trailer) you may park near the camp/trailer site you have chosen. Once unloaded, please park your vehicle for the duration of your stay in the grass area next to the gate entrance. Ask any FBC staff member for assistance once on-site.
