Building Campaign 2022 Launch
In order to better meet the needs of the community and the church body, we are launching a 3 year fundraising campaign to build a new building that can be used more effectively in the long run. Below is an excerpt of Pastor Alan's thoughts that he originally shared with the church at the Building Campaign Launch Banquet.
"Here are the ways I want to talk about that put God first in the life of this church….In other words how I see this building in practical ways helping God’s church body here at Fairfield Baptist!
1. We will have a worship center designed for being a worship center:
3. We will have a “Main Street” type foyer to encourage great fellowship… and streamline the navigation and security of the building!
4. Church Pre-school rooms/ CDC – welcoming and close to the auditorium:
5. New office space that makes sense:
Rather than people trying to find our office space during the week… whether that be a new guest on Sunday, or a company trying to deliver a package during the week, our office space would be obviously seen toward the front entrance of the building.
This epic improvement to our building creates all kind of possibilities for the future and well being of Fairfield Baptist Church… Would love for you all to prayerfully consider how you may be part of this project!
We deeply want to make God the #1 priority in our lives…and share Him with the people in this community!

"Here are the ways I want to talk about that put God first in the life of this church….In other words how I see this building in practical ways helping God’s church body here at Fairfield Baptist!
1. We will have a worship center designed for being a worship center:
- The acoustical sound of the room, the lighting, the surroundings will be designed around the idea…that this room is made to corporately come together and worship God!
- In so many ways we have missed for all age groups the recreational opportunities of the gym! The years we had the gym available for “Youth group dodge ball night”… “The AWANA ministry for children”… “The Indoor recess for the CDC, with all the big wheels and tricycles”… Adult basketball nights here at church… all kinds of youth and children Sunday school hour games and opportunities….
- Also…It becomes a place for causual gatherings again…such a “Connection Café” with the kitchen serving area connected seamlessly to the place of fellowship. Big church dinners become easier with more room… It’s easier to bring back ministries like before with regular dinners and fellowships we once did on Wed. nights…
- Lots of possibilities for our community having this room available. Just a few years ago, there was one church using this building - We now serve three congregations for our growing Latino population!
3. We will have a “Main Street” type foyer to encourage great fellowship… and streamline the navigation and security of the building!
- By this I mean the church building will operate off one Axis Point --- One main entrance hall in which to put signs --- This way to pre-school, this direction for youth, all adult education this way, auditorium that way…. And for security purpose only a few easily watched front entrance doors…. All others able to remain locked!
- It’s a foyer big enough to support the worship center… people will be able to stand wherever they want without being in the way… comfortable size…good visibility of seeing people they are looking for… easy to see new guests… Place maybe for a small coffee shop to the side to catch up with folks for the week….
4. Church Pre-school rooms/ CDC – welcoming and close to the auditorium:
- Parents reassured by new safe, well lit clean rooms with great transparency and never too far away from the parents sitting in the auditorium. Our mid-week Christian child development center will be back in our own building
5. New office space that makes sense:
Rather than people trying to find our office space during the week… whether that be a new guest on Sunday, or a company trying to deliver a package during the week, our office space would be obviously seen toward the front entrance of the building.
- Rather than staff being separated in offices throughout the building – there would be an administrative wing where you can find office space and personnel residing together in one area.
This epic improvement to our building creates all kind of possibilities for the future and well being of Fairfield Baptist Church… Would love for you all to prayerfully consider how you may be part of this project!
We deeply want to make God the #1 priority in our lives…and share Him with the people in this community!
