LIGHTHOUSE TEAMS
WHAT IS A LIGHTHOUSE TEAM?
Lighthouse Teams visit individuals and families where we can extend God's grace, compassion and help when help is needed. Most often, the people we visit have already shown an interest in a relationship with Christ, have visited the church, or are those who have stopped attending due to various life circumstances. More than ever, people are feeling isolated, alone or lost. We want people to know they are loved, there is a community of believers that want to know and help them, and God has a purpose for their lives. Our goal is to help and care for people with any of the following needs:
The mission of Lighthouse Teams flows out of the Great Commission, "Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20 NLT) |
