LEAD PASTOR
Alan Gayle I first started coming to this church as a baby in the nursery. Now, over 50 years later, it's my pleasure to still call Fairfield Baptist Church my home. My wife, Kelley, and I have enjoyed raising our three daughters, Allyson, Katelyn, and Megan, within this warm fellowship.
I enjoy getting outdoors on the mountain lakes or hiking the many wonderful trails in beautiful Oregon. I love playing weekly games of basketball, rounds of golf, and the occasional pickleball game. Kelley and I both enjoy getting to know new people and love sitting down with friends for a dinner out. We would love the chance to get to know you over some good coffee or a dinner out. ASSOCIATE & WORSHIP PASTOR
Ryan Prieb My wife (Alissa), daughter (Janelle) and I moved here in 2020 from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Though we don't have family in Eugene, this church has truly become our family in every way that matters.
I enjoy being active outside, whether hiking a trail or working in the yard, though I definitely won't say no to the occasional nap in a hammock. As a family, we love exploring Oregon and discovering it's beautiful secrets. I'm a bit of a "foodie", so I also love discovering unique eateries, hole-in-walls, dives, and food trucks. (got one I should try? Let me know!) I love the opportunity to get to know and connect with people one-on-one, so if you have questions about Fairfield, faith, or want to get to know me, let me know... I'd be happy to buy a cup of coffee, lunch or dessert. CONNECTIONS PASTOR
Rickey Scott I am a retired pastor who has been in the ministry for man years, serving churches in Oregon and Washington. I was senior pastor of Riviera Baptist Church, Eugene, Oregon for 26 years. It is a privilege to serve as Fairfield's Connections Pastor.
I married my high school sweetheart and God blessed us with three children, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I especially enjoy watching our great grandkids play sports. I enjoy playing golf, watching Duck football and basketball, and St. Louis Cardinal baseball. |
YOUTH MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Jon Kleespies Since moving to Eugene in October 2023, serving at Fairfield has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. I originally pursued a nursing degree, but God called me into ministry and it has been nothing short of extraordinary. It is a joy to partner with you to disciple your students while also serving as the Willamette High School Campus Life Director.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing sports, watching movies, and playing board games. I am also passionate about Major League baseball, and have visited 20 of the 30 stadiums across the nation. KIDS MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Becky Denham Serving at Fairfield is one of the greatest joys of my life! After spending six years in youth ministry here, I have shifted gears to working with kids and volunteers in our Kids Ministry! From Wednesday nights to VBS and Trunk or Treat, there is so much fun to be had when working with kiddos. Thank you for trusting me to partner with y'all to disciple your children.
My husband Alan and I love being a part of the body of Fairfield and grateful we get to raise our daughter in this community. We love to sing, travel, and play games together as we grow our family. We hope to see you around soon! OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Felicia Buford I have worked as the Office Administrator at Fairfield since 2018, and have enjoyed it so much. I truly love coming to work here in this very positive and caring environment with a fantastic team of people who I call friends.
When I'm not at work I love spending time with my amazing husband and our two beautiful daughters. We enjoy getting outside in nature, going camping, paddle boarding, and hanging out with friends and family. I also love puzzles, music, dancing and playing games. I love people and connecting. This church has truly been that for me; a place where I've connected with so many and now call them my family. |
